why was only hezb vilified while Amal was spared condemnation?

It may appear that way, but both Amal and HA are the same brand under different labels. One can't say something about one without implyng the other.

A great deal of Amal fighters ended up joining Hezbollah after their civil war in the late 80s anyway.

This is the first time I recall Amal resorting to weapons since the end of the civil war... which is really strange, because I think they feel they are in a comfort zone now since Syria is gone they can fight again. Can anyone correct me?

that is soo untrue min zamen il hizib w 7araki ma byetaya2o w fi bayneton dam ktiir just like aoun w owet but after time they became together they agreed on certain points yet disagree on other points
