The Boustany family in America is basically centred in Lafayette, Louisiana. The family there has a history of well grounded business and involvement in local politics. The current US Congressman for Louisiana's 7th district, Lafayette is none other than Dr Charles Boustany Jnr (Republican). They al...

With all the rockets and kabooms hanging in town, it would actually be easier to send another Lebanese to the moon.. or what remains of him.

Hehehe Jieh2008, haven't you ever had 3elket Mesk? It never has any taste in it? But leave it out too long and it goes hard, then you have to crunch it back into motion again, so keep chewing, it'll last forever!

Haroun, what St Paul has to do with this article is simple. AJ wants to remove the Maronite Church from politics to get someone bigger than her, why of course, St Paul himself!

Most new leaders start off with all this new fresh vigour and energy... then it fades off, just like a chewing gum having lost its juicey taste. Many have come in the past making all these promises of change and renewal. Yeah it's changed the bed sheets, but they will always turn dirty after a while...

You want a challenge, dissolve the council of Jieh, since Jieh is not capable of self-rule. Dissolve it and amalgamate it with Damour.

All this talk about change and change and replacing people and new vision and all this nonsense makes no difference. If there are problems with something, then those problems must be addressed. You can't address them, as AJ puts out, by starting afresh, opening a new page. It is like pulling the gra...

If you really think about it, everyone no matter what party they belong to is a socialist in some aspect. When it boils down to it, I doubt any one of us could live on their own in the wild. It may not seem that way, but in one way or another, people are always depending on others to help them, it's...

According to the letter "lists must be forwarded to the AJCC" means that it should be in writing, not word of mouth. There is no excuse to interpret this in any irrational way as a simple cause for whinging. All families were sent one letter according to the addresses listed in the up-to-d...

A reminder to prospective AJCC election nominees, your lists were due on 25th of October, 1 week before the elections on November 1st. As it stands, the current committee minus a few people will be r...

WHERE WERE THESE 'HEROES' when the bushfires were raging? Perhaps cosed up inside their homes on the beach while the real men of Dibbiyyeh were out saving lives, putting out fires and assuring the safety of elderly women and children. When the fires were out, and the ashes remained, the FPM came out...

I think it is you people who know little about Dany and what Dany stood for, who Dany stood with and who Dany stood against. You know that all too well Haroun... Why do you deny it? And I take it you knew the man personally yourself, right? This is not Amnesty International, this is politics. Lies ...
