Optus Vision is going to switch off the freeloaders

Post by charbel Azzi »

The Optus Vision “subscribers” are going to be more restless when Otpus Vision terminates their analogue service in May when Optus changes to a digital service. So people who are using a modified set box to watch the Arabic channels such as LBCi and other English pay TV channels for free will now have to start paying for their pay TV service.
The bad news does not stop there, as from next month the World media satellite subscribers who are watching LBCi and the four other Arabic channels on Panasat 2 on the BIG satellite dish (C Band) will lose LBCi , Future TV and Al Arabiya as they are switched off on that frequency, with ONLY ART and Al Jazeera remaining.
So if the subscribers want to continue to watch LBCi and Future TV they have to buy a smaller satellite Dish and pay a higher fee of $40 per month .to watch them on the other satellite PAS 8.
On the bright side Al Jazeera Channel has started on the Arabic mux AsiaSat 2 100.5E 3820 V Sr 27500 ¾ , Free to air .

GREAT NEWS!!!

the LBC logo has been burnt into our TV screen. Its always on 24/7.

LBC has become absolute rubbish. There used to be excellent shows but now all they show is bloody politics and stupid american spinoff shows like Star Academy. PUHLEEEEEEEEZE!!!

Bring back studio el Fan atleast.

or

Meen el Owal 3ala LBC

Or

Those guys that used to do the quizes on the street. If you guess a riddle you get enough funiture to fill a house or some other prize.

Theres no more quality programing anymore.

All i see is an endless line of ugly stupid politicians or people wanting to talk politics. When in reality NO ONE CARES!!!

Its a cancer.

I throw some of the blame on LBC for the destruction of lebanon and their political programing to drive people to madness and confusion.

GIVE US A BREAK!!!

Show us some of the good old documentaries on Lebanon or Fairuz or Ghawar movies. Take peoples mind off politics and let them see what theyre missing out on. instead of always fueling the flame.

My Hissy Fit is done.

Well, at least the Kids Power program is still on...and Ma Elak Ela Hayfa aerobics show.

Maybe if there was less unrest there would be more shows being produced to be able to be put on air. Less political programs would be better, and that's best made sure by writing to them at http://www.lbcgroup.tv/LBC/En/TopMenu/Contact+Us/

Don't worry, Orange TV will soon be put to air and will be matching that colour of rubbish too. They just haven't found enough garbos to present the programs yet.

Optus freeloaders the Jig is up!!!

Post by charbel Azzi »

I have heard the OPtars has been hitting many homes with random searches. Armed with search warrants and police assistance, they are going into homes that they suspect are non-legit subscribers and then confiscating equipment and giving out heavy fines of $60,500.

They are doing street by street checking apparently. Mainly in western sydney from what ive heard so far.

You've been warned Optus Vision freeloaders.

My advice: Dig a big hole in your backyard and bury your modified cable box, pirated movie stash, and just to be safe throw the computer in it too. Then use iron reinforced concrete to cover the whole thing up.. the iron mesh will confuse the metal detector when they come a looking.
Or better still get a one way ticket to Leb land at least there the Lebanese TV channels are all free.

People do forget that illegal paytv is stealing.

Stealing is a sin.

its number 8 of the 10 commandments list.

Its a mortal sin.

Yet its got the LBC and Nharkon Sa3eed. God should have put those as commandment no11 of things you should not watch.

I like LBC, I think it's great. It's the number 1 watched television station in the Middle East.

I like to watch it for the aerobics program Ma Elak Ila Haifa, and Kids Power
