I am not going to divert the attention away from this thread. If you feel like gossiping saliby open a thread and remind us.

Next week trees will be planted in the car park adjacent to the monastery.

Prior to entering into the cemetary the pavement out side on the right hand side has been renovated and replanted.

Trees will be planted on the road leading up to the Church (shere3 le kneese).

pictures will be posted soon.

A new electricity cable will be installed this week by the Waef. It will run down the street leading up to the church (shere3 le kneese)

Pines, cypreses and dates the Jieh has enough Eucalyptus on the road leading up to the al3a...

It should have been a Pine tree instead of a Cedar tree in the middle of the Lebanese flag.

Lebanon is the land of the Snoobar.

Dont plant any trees which bear edible fruits. You know how picky us lebs are. Especially Akadini and loze trees.

Congrats AJ you have made it and u transformed Jieh into a green land and with a lighting for 24/24 hours on it's roads, we don't know how we should thank you.
Those half a meter trees have turned our village into a green space,and the 4 lamps u replaced that shows us that the generator is on have enlightened our lives and our town.

AJ,
The trees are doing fine, they are about 3 meters tall and growing. I saw more trees than I expected on the main jieh road, they are placed less than 3 meters apart and all are also thriving.

While you see trees on the older neigbourhood and the beach resort roads, you see none in the newer developments.
