Always the problem but never the solution.

Post by Abou Jamra »

The Jieh people (AJCC) have a terrible reluctance to admit error and mistake. Who's fault is it? It is always the guy next doors. We have a similar attitude when discussing our village problems we never discuss or offer a solution but we always identify the problem (not its cause). I would like to know is anybody doing anything about these problems effecting our environment?

Is so, what?

If not, why not?

All the topics you, Haroun and Prince Cadmus have opened in regards to the environment. Those problems Charboula. The very problems that have been plaguing our village for decades.

Ma fee 7al because we are not looking for one.

I think there's a general consensus about cleanliness in the community. It's all about education of the young people, and I believe making the news is good, but of course it stops half way there, the rest remains up to us to consider in our private lives. It all starts from there.

As for major environmental projects for Jieh, there's only so much one can do while living outside that town. Exiles can obviously provide money if there is a will to do something, and one good project was the planting of the jacaranda trees around parts of Jieh..

If people make it to next week's AJCC club pizza night in Sydney, I'm sure that's a great place to discuss possible points.

Do it bit by bit, then aim higher.

Prince will you be attending the Pizza night?

If so can you discuss this with the people there? See if there is any genuine interest. Dont ask them for money, ask them for ideas.

I'll give it a shot, no harm.
